The library wants to provide excellent service to teens. We will look to LYAC to provide us with the input we need to assure that we are providing the best service, programs and library materials possible.
The LYAC will meet and participate in fun activities as well as discuss, plan, help promote, and participate in library programs. This group will be what you make it!

LYAC members will gain valuable job experience by demonstrating good attendance, dependability, creativity and developing interpersonal skills while working with people of all ages.
Members can use their time with LYAC to fulfill service hour requirements for school, confirmation, honor society and other organizations. LYAC members are eligible to receive letters of recommendation for job references, honor society, school and community awards, and college scholarships.
The goal of LYAC:
Is to insure the availability of quality resources for both leisure activities and homework assignments for young adults in the library. The Council encourages teen involvement in the library through creative, original programming and suggesting items to be acquired by the library.
